Six Week Course

Fragments to Fiction with Sudha Bhuchar

From Fragments to Fiction is a bespoke and comprehensive course, delivered by actor, playwright, co-founder of Tamasha and founder of Bhuchar Boulevard, Sudha Bhuchar. In this course, Sudha will hold the space for participants and share her ‘magpie’ approach to writing through practical writing prompts and exercises; using recorded, overheard, and remembered conversations; masterclass talks- all tailored to inspire you to write from an authentic place that is uniquely YOU.

Structured sessions will explore theme, story, dialogue and subtext from the source of the ideas that emerge; leading to writing that could include ‘self-portraits’, memoir, monologues or scenes that inform performance.

Over six, weekly online sessions, Sudha will respond to the individual needs of the participants and craft each session cumulatively. Whether you're a novice writer looking to examine fledging ideas for your writing, or an experienced author seeking to widen your sources of inspiration, this course offers valuable insights and practical techniques to help you find the extraordinary in the everyday. Capturing the spirit of ‘Author in Me’, you will be inspired to discover your own storehouse of inspiration and magic in the unlikeliest of places.

A person who is described as a ‘magpie’ is someone who likes collecting and keeping things-often things that seemingly have little value, any object that catches their eye.’
